Natural Medicines for Stomach Acid Rises

Gastric acid is responsible for digesting the food that enters. Nevertheless, sometimes the amount becomes excessive and can make the digestive system disrupted.

That makes the valve between the esophagus and stomach not function appropriately so that stomach acid can rise to the esophagus and cause GERD. GERD or gastroesophageal reflux disease causes symptoms of heartburn or chest pain, mouth feels bitter/sour, difficulty swallowing, and the stomach feels uncomfortable.

Well, there is no need to panic if stomach acid rises, because some of these natural medicines can help relieve it.

1. Herbal tea

Herbal tea can help relieve nausea due to stomach acid. Not only that, but herbal tea can also help facilitate the digestive system.
However, do not choose the wrong, herbal teas that can be consumed by people with stomach acid should be caffeine-free. Like sweet root tea and chamomile.

2. Smoothies

Not only delicious, but in fact, smoothies are also safe for consumption by stomach acid sufferers. Nevertheless, remember, when buying or making smoothies our self, choose fruits that do not contain many acids, like watermelons or pears.

3. Milk

If stomach acid rises, we can drink low-fat milk / skim milk to reduce it. That is because skim milk quickly digests, so it does not interfere with the function of the esophagus valve. Besides, We can also drink vegetable milk like almond milk, which contains chemical properties so that it can help neutralize stomach acid.

Died Because of Stomach Acid

Those who have an ulcer history MUST READ it
New knowledge
This girl died because of stomach acid.

GERD or dyspepsia

What is Gerd?
(Gastroesophageal Reflux)
died suddenly due to Gerd

Let us study
At least read first what it means to be more aware of our bodies.
Enjoy our life.
Enjoy life and give as many thanks.

Cause of GERD

Want to know the consequences of Gerd?
If stomach acid rises in the chest area, then later around the chest, it will feel hot like burning.

If he rises about the heart area, the heartbeat rhythm can disrupt so that the heart can pound so hard that the pounding is like a bell that feels like it is just about to fall off.

If the stomach acid rises to the lungs, it will disrupt the function of the lungs so that we will often experience shortness of breath.

If gastric acid goes to ENT (Throat, Nose, and Ear), then the Throat will often occur inflammation, it will be difficult to swallow.
If the throat has an infection and then narrows, it is what makes the patient feel when sleeping like strangled people and throat always feels there is a blockage.

Then what happens to the nose if it is often affected by increased stomach acid?
The nose can experience sinusitis.
Flu-like symptoms that do not heal throughout the year.
Imagine
Just one-day flu does not feel very good.
What if it happens every day for the whole year?

Then what if the stomach acid seeps into the ears?
People who suffer from chronic ulcers, which then develop into Gerd often, then hearing becomes less.
It can even lose hearing altogether.
Very worrying, huh?

Not only the Throat, Nose, and Ears can then be disturbed.
Nevertheless, even the eye can be affected by the rise of stomach acid everywhere.
Vision People with stomach ulcers and GERD often get disturbed because the nerves of the eye are affected by stomach acid, which seeps into the eyes.
So, that becomes blurry.

It is not just chronic stomach pain and Gerd.
If many organs become impaired due to the increase in stomach acid, the suffering they experience is very alarming.
Unless the stomach feels like a knife slashing, they will also be short of breath, and the heart will be stiff.

Errors of Ulcer Sufferers
Pain Maag is a Silent Killer.
The KILLER is quiet and the Death We take lightly.

We also have stomach ulcers because our Blood Type O has high acidity.
Most sufferers of heartburn are O Blood type.
Blood Type O is generally not recommended for being a Vegetarian.

One of the biggest mistakes of Ulcer sufferers is:
- Instantly Take Ulcer Medication

Taking Maragh medicine so we can eat is ❌ (wrong).

In urgent cases, do not eat first so that the stomach can rest.

Take a pinch of salt, suck slowly.
Within minutes the stomach will feel comfortable because chemical properties in the salt neutralize the acid.

- Do not understand

Many Ulcer sufferers think that they do not want to depend on medicine.
They think Acid in the Stomach will disappear when given sweet food or drink or will disappear with time.
That is the FIRST thought.

Gastric acid is CORROSIVE, which helps the digestion process.
Nevertheless, it is very damaging if it is excessive.

IMMEDIATELY neutralize the acid by sucking salt.
Then make a warm salt solution + Lemon / Lime drops.
Lemon tastes sour but is alkaline.
The taste of tamarind, press with salt.

-Not aware of the cause

Many Ulcer sufferers think that gastritis is caused by:
- Late seating
- Drinking coffee
- Eat Acid
- Eat spicily
- Eat Glutinous Rice
- And others

NOT.

The leading cause is not that.
Late eating, coffee, acid & spicy, sticky rice & coconut milk, and others are just SECONDARY CAUSES.

The most common cause of heartburn is precise:
- Stress
- lack of movement

Stress,
occupying an essential place, causing gastric ulcers.
The concentration of gastric acid increases several times much higher even when stressed than when late eating.

Motionlessness,
The body makes a peristaltic motion in the intestine and stomach weaken, so that stomach acid is not processed correctly and accumulates.
For example, after eating, direct sleeping will make the intestine not digest properly.
The result can trigger more gastric acid because the stomach "thinks" that the food is not well-saturated in previous digestive processes.

Movements in yoga must do
Longing yoga will allow the stomach and bowel contents to move and more quickly mix with the enzymes in the stomach and intestines.

To prevent recurrent ulcers, our need to avoid trigger factors like the one above and we should eat small portions but more often.

Can Ulcer Heal Completely and Not Recur?

Can Ulcer Heal Completely and Not Recur?

Ulcer is a condition that many people often complain about. Ulcer or dyspepsia is a term that describes the feeling of a full stomach, discomfort in the upper abdomen, frequent belching, heartburn, bloating, and nausea. Various methods were taken so that this did not recur, from taking medication to regulating food. But still the ulcer can happen again. Actually, can the ulcer recover completely forever? Come find out the answer below.

Actually what is an ulcer and what is the cause?

Ulcer is a collection of symptoms of various conditions associated with gastrointestinal problems.

Symptoms include:

- Bloating
- belch
- Nausea and vomiting
- Sour taste in the mouth
- The stomach feels burning hot
- Stomach ache
- The stomach feels full

There are many causes that can make the symptoms of ulcers occur. Starting from increased stomach acid, gastric infections, experiencing intestinal or gastric wounds, pancreatitis, gastroparesis, food intolerance, thyroid disease, food poisoning, and Irritable Bowel Syndrome.

In addition to illness, an unhealthy lifestyle can also trigger symptoms of an ulcer, such as:

- The habit of eating too much and fast.
- experience stress and fatigue
- Drink too much alcohol
- smoking

Then is the stomach able to recover completely?
Ulcer can basically be removed with antacid drugs, or acid blockers such as ranitidine or omeprazole. These drugs are able to relieve, but NOT FORM TO MAKE YOU CURE TOTAL.

Can ulcers heal tota? This depends on whether the cause of your stomach can be resolved completely or not. If the cause can be resolved completely, automatically the symptoms of ulcer will disappear. That means, stomach ulcers can be completely cured if treated according to their roots, not just using drugs to relieve stomach symptoms.

Symptoms of ulcers most often occur due to increased stomach acid (GERD) or there are wounds (ulcers) in the gastrointestinal tract.

For example, if the symptoms of stomach ulcers arise due to GERD, then first drugs will be given such as H2 blockers and antacids. BUT The use of this drug can still make your stomach acid condition rise again, especially if there are triggers such as being stressed, or eating too fast.

If you experience ulcers or sores in the stomach, this can be treated with acid-blocking drugs or better with turmeric and lime which have been formulated into herbs, and this can be completely cured. If the wound in your stomach is fully healed, then the symptoms of the stomach will not return.

If you have an infection in the stomach due to a bacterial attack, you need antibiotics for the treatment. Honey, turmeric and lime are good anti-bacteria to overcome them. Handling the right gastric infection until healed automatically will also eliminate the symptoms of ulcers.

In order to be completely cured, start applying a healthy lifestyle

But it should be noted also, what causes GERD, ulcers, and infection. If the things above are caused by bad habits that can cause it such as often eating spicy, sour, and fatty foods, or drinking coffee often, then you need to change that. If not, chances are that the same problem will recur.

Therefore, in addition to treating the cause with medical treatment, it is also necessary to arrange proper eating for people who experience ulcers so that they recover more quickly.

A high-fiber diet is a good way to help heal the digestive system. This diet will have the effect of cleansing the intestines and making digestion more smooth and clean. Fruits, nuts, vegetables have good fiber to protect the digestive tract.

Reducing spicy or oily food, drinking regularly will also help smooth the digestive process. With the right diet the causes of ulcers will be cured more quickly, so that the symptoms of ulcers will disappear more quickly and not repeat again.

Ulcer is actually not a specific disease, but a collection of symptoms that are felt when there is a problem with digestion.

Beware of Stomach Acid Because of Eating Meat

Beware of Stomach Acid Because of Eating Meat

( Source image : https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDArLjltAgXnStoJLOtu2tUHYhL4piGnMO-8sj4KIbHoZ3hi4tFM_1_9TcEzl6RqXUIYm2dwQ-IHtjggr-9reyM7YWLM6xfm_SLIDH2iw0oKvAT16eMf2jHEwmcVSA1CaXluEpabkyRR8/s640/9+Cara+diet+alami+dan+sehat+untuk+menurunkan+berat+badan+secara+cepat.jpg)

Cholesterol is not the only threat behind the meat menu while celebrating Eid al-Adha. There is still a forgotten threat, namely, Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD) or increased stomach acid due to cravings when eating meat.

In every Eid al-Adha celebration, people with cholesterol disorders usually know themselves not to overdo the victim's meat. However, for those with normal cholesterol levels, the threat of GERD is often ignored because they feel they have no risk whatsoever when eating meat.

A clinical practitioner from the University of Indonesia, Dr. Ari Fahrial Syam, SPD-KGEH, said GERD caused by a weakness in the valve that limits the stomach and esophagus. For those who have these risk factors, overeating can lead to GERD attacks.

"The reason that induces the onset of GERD, which may have already existed before, is due to excessive consumption of meat in a short time," Dr. Ari wrote in his e-mail to reporters, as quoted on Sunday (11/06/2011).

According to Dr. Ari, excessive consumption of meat will increase the risk of GERD if cooked with excessive coconut milk. The use of stimulating herbs such as acid and spicy will also trigger the movement of stomach contents to rise towards the esophagus.

To prevent this, Dr. Ari gave a few tips when eating meat as follows:

1. Do not eat meat excessively in a short time
2. Avoid eating meat along with innards (intestines, liver, brain, lungs, spleen)
3. Avoid spices that are too stimulating for example spicy and sour
4. After eating meat do not drink coffee, alcohol and soft drinks
5. During eating meat avoid foods that contain chocolate and cheese
6. Do not go to sleep in 2 hours after eating meat.

Dr. Ari added meat in principle is an essential source of nutrition because it has very high protein. Besides being very useful during the growth period, protein also needs to repair cells damaged by illness or due to the aging process.

But on the other hand, meat also contains fat. Fat can actually be an energy reserve, but if it is excessive, it will inhibit the gastric emptying process and increase the risk of GERD or backflow of gastric contents, including stomach acid into the esophagus.

Symptoms of chest pain or heartburn always accompany increased gastric acid to the esophagus, so it is often mistaken for heart disease. This pain also felt up to the esophagus, and if it rises steadily. Until it reaches the tongue, it will cause a sensation of a bitter taste.

Other symptoms that often go with acid reflux are a pain in the pit of the stomach, flatulence, and frequent belching. In some people, this condition also induces or triggers shortness of breath, chronic cough, rhinitis or inflammation of the nose, laryngitis or inflammation of the vocal cords, and sometimes a feeling of pain in the teeth.

Benefits of Ginger for Stomach Acid Patients

Benefits of Ginger for Stomach Acid Patients

Ginger is a herb. Rhizomes (underground stems) are used as herbs and  medicine too. It can be used fresh, dried and powdered, or as juice or oil.

Ginger is commonly used to treat various types of "stomach problems," including motion sickness, morning sickness, colic, abdominal pain, gas, diarrhea, nausea due to cancer treatment, nausea and vomiting after surgery, and loss of appetite.

Other uses include pain from arthritis or muscle pain, menstrual pain, upper respiratory tract infections, coughing and bronchitis. Ginger is also sometimes used for chest pain, lower back pain, and abdominal pain.

Ginger has been found to have a gastroprotective effect by blocking acid and suppressing helicobacter pylori. 4 According to a 2007 study, it was also far superior to lansoprazole to prevent ulcer formation, 5 showing six to eight times greater potential for drugs! This may not be too surprising, given the fact that ginger has been traditionally used for gastric disorders since ancient times.

Most people have an acid stomach over time, experienced as a burning sensation under the breastbone, according to The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. Acid reflux occurs when stomach acid rises to the esophagus. Natural treatments such as ginger may be an alternative to prescription or over-the-counter acid reduction to calm stomach acid occasionally.

How to use

In their book "The best choice from the People's Pharmacy," Joe and Teresa Graedon suggest that ginger tea will stimulate the production of saliva and cleanse the acid that has been reflexed into the esophagus. Make your own ginger tea by cutting a 1-inch piece of ginger, removing the skin, and the fresh ginger lattice. Cover with hot water and allow it to steep for a while. Filter out ginger and add lemon or sweetener of your choice. As an alternative, Dr. David Williams, DC, shows 1,000 milligrams of powder or capsule ginger every day.

GERD, heavier than Ulcer

Incidentally yesterday I just translated a questionnaire containing about GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease) is a chronic disease characterized by the flow of stomach acid (reflux) into the esophagus. Although I am not in charge of health / medicine, at least I managed to find some sources that can be used as a reference.

( Source Picture: https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjE0MnNoszDweFD5EQr8YxxHdU6AuRjr0DuVZZ-ymvvqOJ-YY6o3VU-7yFj2KWgL-yWhpM2_h02_tzVVaHugE94VHS6ZmM3XbYGj7w9z4ANGeQiqmLqVS8Bsghr3y4vrohaJfOTgSjjddB_/s1600/Gerd.JPG  )

Indeed every person would want to be healthy, but sometimes habits, lifestyle, diet, sleep patterns make a person vulnerable to various diseases. One of them is this disease. Emphasis from the search results I get, for those who are overweight, please be on the lookout for this disease because. The disease is more severe than ulcer disease. Do not know why fat people are always close to the disease, and what I fear most is diseases like hypertension and diabetes. But it turns out obese people also face the risk of "light" disease like this. An average of 20% of adult US population experience GERD symptoms at least once a week. Severe GERD will cause ulcers (ulcers)

The symptoms of GERD disease are the feeling / sensation of heat in the chest (or more precisely behind the breastbone - as I get from the translating result of yesterday), the acidic taste rises to the tongue feeling bitter and acidic (regurgitation). This is because fat deposits and pressure in the stomach getting bigger. The action should be done to avoid the above symptoms of controlling weight to normal proportions.

This disease is classified as dyspepsia syndrome, which describes the existence of a collection or symptoms consisting of nausea, vomiting, pain or a sense of security in the solar plexus. In addition to weight control, other prevention is to control stress by maintaining a quality rest. Besides reducing or stopping smoking (wah if this seems difficult) and reduce the consumption of certain drugs. Also avoid spicy foods, beverages that trigger increased stomach acid. For example, coffee or sour taste (this is also difficult).

However, GERD is not only threatening to someone who is overweight, asthma patients, pregnant women and psychiatric disorders or psychic stress can get this disease. In order not to get GERD, here are the things that can be used as guidelines (and treatment):

  1.     Avoid things that can increase stomach acid production and weaken LES as foods with high acidity and fatty acids (hamburgers, oranges, tomatoes), coffee, tea, alcohol, and chocolate.
  2.     Divide your portion into several smaller portions instead of overeating at a time. Do not eat late at night. Do not lie down immediately after eating.
  3.     Control weight and stop smoking. Achieve ideal weight because obesity will put extra pressure on LES.
  4.     Stop smoking because tobacco will increase stomach acid production and weaken LES.
  5.     Avoid slouching forward unless it should be because this increases the pressure on the LES.
  6.     Do not use a tight belt or clothing.
  7.     Raise the head position of your bed 6-10 inches because lying flat causes stomach acid up into the esophagus.
  8.     Check or consult your doctor before taking any painkillers that can make your GERD symptoms worse.
  9.     Make sure that your doctor knows all the medications you are taking.

The most commonly used drugs are antacids that are widely circulated in the market. This type of drug was standard therapy in the 1970s and was effective in controlling mild GERD symptoms. Generally, antacids are consumed after each meal and before bedtime. In addition to the antacid secretion (release) of stomach acid can also be derived with drugs from histamine 2 receptor antagonist groups, such as cimetidine, ranitidine, famotidine, etc. One very effective drug is from the proton pump inhibitor groups, such as omeprazole. This highly effective omeprazole is safe for long-term consumption

I am sure everybody wants to live healthy, with various efforts to keep health condition, but one thing that should not be forgotten: in healthy sauce, we must remember when we are sick, and in sickness we must remember when we are healthy, If we are in one position we will not forget and get lost.

Obesity triggers stomach acid

Obesity or excess weight can cause damage to the organs and bring your body to a bad medical condition and at risk of disease attack, and not even a little lead to death. Serious diseases such as stroke, heart attack, diabetes and so on will increase along with your weight gain, therefore weight loss is the best and precise solution to avoid the risk of attacking a dangerous disease that can be life-threatening. Other facts also reveal, that obesity can cause digestive disorders such as stomach, as has been discussed earlier also cause stomach acid, that is indeed overweight or obesity trigger stomach acid.

 ( Source Picture : https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOKJMXNNve12OWZ0ghLGLlA-Fl1XCu8XVurXJfKSl8s8ZWQaY0pgY_kjO9uH9YTmTiL8Ro4RPSxeeRE4gRAloM8s08-Tru_G50yfNfYoPuE4QjS6bKPP29QwF7b0kiyYw46rAbnGqqaj4c/s1600/penyakit-perut-buncit-gendut-tips-cara-berat-badan-langsing.jpg )

Excessive consumption of food can cause obesity, and excessive eating activity also can cause GERD disease (gastroesophageel reflux disease), so of course obese people can be at risk of stomach acid, because excess weight can increase the pressure in the stomach, and can encourage acid Stomach rises or flows back upward into the esophagus or esophagus, and adversely affects the condition of the GERD symptoms itself. So that obese people who are also at risk of suffering from stomach acid will feel the burning sensation of pain and pressure around the chest and neck as fat presses the stomach area. And increase the pressure on the surrounding muscles that can force open stomach acid. Increases pressure on the muscle rings that lie below the esophagus, which is where the muscle rings are about 10 inches long, which is the throat to the abdomen. So that the condition does not obesity can prevent the return of stomach acid is rising.

A study conducted in 2005 revealed that the risk of acid reflux stomach can be increased in people who are overweight or obese. So by losing weight or reducing a few kilograms of weight in obese people can provide long-term solution to the problem of high stomach acid and heartburn. In addition to your weight diet, stomach acid is also recommended for diet from cigarettes, soft drinks, caffeinated, alcoholic, high cholesterol foods and so on that can cause stomach acid recurrence or weight gain. In addition, you can take steps that can be done to reduce the recurrence of stomach acid is not to over eat, but remember do not remain excessive in small portions but often, and do not eat at the same time many, so this is what can cause stomach acid Also obesity. Eat slowly and do not rush.

If your stomach acid disease always relapse 1-2 times a month and still feel light or not excessive, it usually does not need medical treatment. Because it certainly can still be overcome by changing the pattern of life as mentioned above. In addition, you can also consume gastric acid relief medication if symptoms occur and work in relieving and reducing the symptoms.
